The desk dedicated to the assessment and collection of waste tax (TARIP) on behalf of the Municipality

The TARIP Desk, available both locally and online, is available to citizens and businesses domiciled in the Municipality to activate, modify or terminate their user account, but also to collect bins and bags

What you can do at the local Desk

We simplify your waste management administrative paperwork

Changes, complaints and requests relating to your home, as well as the collection of kits and bags. A single place to help you perform all administrative and other tasks concerning your waste management user account:

  • Conduct all the formalities related to your TARIP position (activation, termination, variation)
  • Ask for information about your utility and the disposal of unsorted dry waste
  • Request a reprint of the bill
  • Replace standard containers in case of breakage or loss
  • Return standard bags and containers in case of termination
  • Collect standard bags and containers for separate waste collection (users who need or have large containers – over 40 litres – must go to the Waste Desk in Cremona, Via Postumia 102, open the following days and times: from Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. non-stop). If you are unable to go to the Desk in person to collect the bags, you can send a trusted person with your identity card, a copy of the identity card of the user who is to collect the bags and a delegation note

Information

  • The Punctual Waste Tariff (TARIP) is composed of three amounts:

    • a fixed amount, calculated on the basis of the square metres of the property and the number of persons in the household for domestic users and on the category to which the user belongs for non-domestic users, through which road sweeping and bin emptying services, communication and counter services, general management costs and investments are remunerated;
    • a calculated variable amount, proportionate to the number of persons in the household for domestic users and to the square metres of the building for non-domestic users, through which the services of collection, transport, disposal and treatment of the separated waste fractions (paper, plastic, glass, cans, organic matter, green) are remunerated, discounted by the proceeds from the sale of the waste fractions collected that have a market value;
    • a measured variable amount, consisting of an advance part and, if necessary, an adjustment part, through which the collection and disposal services of the non-sorted waste fraction are remunerated.

    Each domestic user will be pre-assigned a guaranteed annual number of deliveries of unsorted dry waste, calculated on the basis of the number of persons in the household or, for non-domestic users, on the basis of the category they belong to and the square metres of the building. If the user exceeds the pre-assigned minimum number of deliveries at the end of the year, he/she will pay the excess deliveries on the following year’s bill. br>  

    EXAMPLE OF CALCULATION FOR DOMESTIC USERS

    The total annual amount to be paid is obtained by multiplying the fixed amount, taken from the number of persons in the household, by the square metres of the dwelling.

    To the product thus obtained must be added the amount of the corresponding calculated variable amount and measured variable amount obtained from the product of the Euro/litre tariff by the annual litres of unsorted dry waste guaranteed.

    EXAMPLE OF CALCULATION FOR NON-DOMESTIC USERS

    The total annual amount to be paid is obtained by multiplying both the fixed amount and calculated and measured variable amounts, measured according to the category, by the square metres of the activity.

    The tariff of the measured variable amount is obtained by multiplying the Euro/litre tariff by the annual litres of unsorted dry waste guaranteed.

    Any balances from the previous year for deliveries of unsorted dry waste in excess of the guaranteed annual number or for user changes must be added to the amounts obtained.

    The amount that is charged includes the TEFA environmental protection and hygiene tax referred to in Article 19 of Decree-Law no. 504/1992, to the extent established by the Resolution of the President of the Province of Cremona no. 159 of October 3, 2022, and VAT to the extent established by law (TEFA 5%, VAT 10%).

    For domestic users, the number of guaranteed unsorted waste deliveries, included in the measured variable amount of the tariff, is shown in the table below:

    The cost of any delivery in excess of the number included in the measured variable amount of the tariff will be charged as an adjustment in the following year’s bill. The tariff set for the year 2023 is 0.022 Euro/litre (plus VAT and TEFA).

    The Municipality of Cremona has envisaged in its “Regulation for the waste tariff payment policy” various reductions that take into account cases of lower waste production, as well as social facilitations.

  • The application of the punctual waste tariff is regulated by the “Regulation for the waste tariff payment policy” approved with Municipal Council Resolution no. 23 of May 8, 2023.

    By Municipal Council Resolution no. 24 of May 8, 2023, the Municipality of Cremona approved the punctual waste tariff for the year 2023.

    By Municipal Council Resolution no. 245 of October 25, 2023, the Municipality of Cremona has defined the facilitations for the Punctual Waste Tariff (TARIP) 2023 in favour of the Bodies enrolled in the Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS), in implementation of the regulatory provisions as per Art. 19, letter h) of the Regulation for the waste tariff payment policy.

  • For the payment of the punctual waste tariff bill, there are several modalities:

    1. Using the pre-filled postal payment slips attached to the bill, making payment:
      • at all Poste Italiane post offices
      • at all authorised businesses
      • at all bank counters
      • online, after registration, at the poste.it website
    2. By bank transfer in favour of:

      taking care to include the bill number, client number and holder’s name in the reason for payment
    3. By postal transfer in favour of:

      taking care to include the bill number, client code and name of holder in the reason for payment
    4. By credit card, by accessing the online Desk and authenticating with the personal credentials indicated on the bill or with SPID and CIE
    5. By credit or debit card, at the TARIP Desk in Cremona, Via Geromini 7
    6. With direct debit. Bank direct debits can be made by accessing the online Desk or by sending an email to taripcremona@a2a.it or by delivering to the TARIP Desk this form duly completed in all its parts. The charge will be made in instalments, on the terms specified on the bill

    Users with an active TARI current account debit will have to reactivate it from January 1, 2023 when the new TARIP comes into force.

    Once the activation request form has been submitted, it will not be necessary to resubmit the form each year if there are no changes to report.

    In the event of a new activation request after receipt of a bill, the bank direct debit service will be activated for payment starting from the next bill.

     

  • The payment of the waste bill for the year 2023 can be paid in a single instalment by June 30, 2023 or in 3 instalments due on June 30, 2023, October 2, 2023 and December 29, 2023.

  • Article 30 of the “Regulation for the waste tariff payment policy” establishes penalties and sanctions applicable in the event of late payment or non-payment.
    The Desk is at your disposal to provide you with all the information you need to pay the amount due in a timely manner, e.g. by reprinting bills with the relevant postal slips on request.

  • In the event that the bill contains an error or a user change is necessary, this can be reported by writing to the email address taripcremona@a2a.it or by booking an appointment at the TARIP Desk.

    For requests for reimbursement of amounts not due, complete the appropriate form and send it to the email address taripcremona@a2a.it or deliver it to the TARIP Desk by appointment.

  • It is possible to activate the bill email service by logging on to the online Desk and authenticating with the credentials shown on the bill or with SPID and CIE or by expressing consent to the service by filling in the request form for the activation of bank direct debit.
