What it is and how to access it

The Ecological Platform is an equipped area in the city where you can take your recyclable household waste. You can access it using the CRS (Regional Services Card)

The Ecological Platform is an equipped and supervised area where you can bring all recyclable waste. The Platform also collects bulky waste and hazardous municipal waste.

For domestic users, access to the Platform is allowed using the Regional Services Card (health card). 

Access to the Platform is allowed only to users residing in the Municipality. For access to non-domestic users, they must be in possession of the prescribed registration with the Albo Gestori Ambientali (Environmental Manager Register) and must present themselves with the prescribed IA form (as per Ministerial Decree of April 8, 2008 as amended) duly completed.

PLEASE NOTE: domestic users that have to deliver waste that, due to its size or type, cannot be transported by car, may access the platform by van or other commercial means only ON REQUEST.

What you can bring

A single place for your household waste

We have compiled for you a complete list of all waste that you can take to the Platform. We can also accept bulky and hazardous waste, provided it comes from a household environment.

  • Discarded durable goods
    • Refrigerators, freezers, televisions, computers, washing machines, dishwashers, air conditioners, and boilers
  • Bulky waste
    • Furniture (cupboards, tables, armchairs, sofas, chairs), miscellaneous items (mattresses, kitchens), bulky waste that is not produced in the home, bulky waste resulting from minor renovation work (doors, windows, shutters, carpets)
  • Green waste
    • Prunings and furnishing plants
  • Inert waste
    • Debris, sanitary ware, rubble, porcelain and various ceramics
  • Iron
    • Pieces of disassembled furniture, nets, small objects, bicycles and other scrap
  • Wood
    • Planks, parts of furniture, crates
  • Lamps (fluorescent)
    • Energy-saving lamps to be deposited intact
  • Discharged batteries
  • Car batteries
  • Frying oil and fat
  • Used mineral oil
  • Depleted toner cartridges

  • Recyclable hard plastic objects

    • Containers of this waste have specific hazard symbols on the label
  • Pet litter
    • Litter (any kind, whether biodegradable or not), litter/bedding sand for small pets and absorbent litter

Each symbol indicates the associated hazard

Hazard symbols are printed on the labels of chemicals and serve to provide immediate information about the types of hazards involved in their use, handling, transport and storage.
