What they are and how to access them

Collection centres are equipped areas in the city where you can take your recyclable household waste. You can enter by presenting your dedicated card

Collection centres are equipped and supervised areas where you can bring all recyclable waste. The centres can also collect bulky waste and hazardous municipal waste.

Entrance by car is allowed using the Ecopass.

On Wednesdays and Fridays, access is allowed to non-domestic users registered with the Albo Gestori Ambientali (Environmental Manager Register) and to domestic users using vans or pick-up trucks (by submitting the appropriate declaration, completed in every part, previously verified by the Waste Office).

The declaration must be filled in on the basis of the form “Declaration for delivery by van”, signed and sent by email together with the required annexes at least 7 days in advance to maccesso.cdr@comune.como.it
The Waste Office will then forward the endorsed form to the collection centre before access.

Hazardous waste

Pay attention to the symbols on the label

Each symbol indicates the associated hazard

Hazard symbols are printed on the labels of chemicals and serve to provide immediate information about the types of hazards involved in their use, handling, transport and storage.
